# GhostMe

> GhostMe is a GDPR-native personal data removal service for individuals and families across the European Union. We help people find their personal information across data brokers, people-search sites, breach databases, and OSINT sources, and we file removal requests under GDPR Article 17, DSGVO, RGPD, RODO, CNPD, and AEPD frameworks on their behalf. Available in German, English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Polish.

## What GhostMe does and does not do

GhostMe initiates removal requests under GDPR and equivalent EU frameworks. We do not guarantee removal — final decisions rest with the data controller. We search public sources only; we do not access private accounts or attempt unauthorized access. Identity verification, when required, is performed by Stripe Identity as a certified third party; we never store raw ID documents. All personally identifiable information stored in our systems is encrypted at rest and accessed only via tightly-scoped backend functions.
